Hand Over / Pre-Work Checks
Before carrying out bodywork repair, paintwork or restoration vehicles are inspected for damage, corrosion, silicone based detailing products and other imperfections that will effect or delay workshop timescales and paintwork results.
Here’s our hand over / pre work what to do and what not to do check list, let’s make life easier for everyone….
Clean it
To avoid valet charges clean your vehicles paintwork, wheels, wheel-arches and door-shuts. Use a basic car shampoo free of wax or glazes – we recommend washing up liquid before paintwork.
Don’t get fancy
Make sure your vehicle is free of silicone based products to avoid valet charges, these include:Back to Black, Tyre Shine, Quick-Detailers, Trim Dressings, Polishes & Waxes.
Be on time
Arrange drop-off in-line with our opening times, Monday to Friday – vehicles must be present by 9:00am to keep to working schedule.
