At ARG refinishing we take pride in every restoration project that passes through our workshop; from full concourse restorations to accident damaged classics our reputation for quality paintwork speaks for itself.
From turn key restorations fully managed inhouse to localised corrosion repairs the team at ARG have over thirty years experience in panel work, fabrication, paint preparation and of course – show winning paintwork.
Based in the heart of the Staffordshire Moorlands, our Leek based workshop is fully equipped with acrylic and 2 pack paint mixing schemes, a multi-lane fabrication department, a modern paint preparation dust extraction workshop and of course, our spray bake paint booth. Our extensive vehicle re-commissioning area boasts 4 and 2 poster ramps, detailing bay and storage area; our workshop allows us to fabricate, restore and customise all makes and marques of classic cars to the highest of standards.

Turn Key Restorations
Our most popular restoration service to bring tired classic back to life. Turn Key Restorations typically consist of complete body, chassis and mechanical tare down, acid dipping or sand/media blasting, corrosion treatment including fabrication and weld-in repairs.
For our concourse restorations we utilise Novol for classic car 8 step paint scheme – our restoration clients build their cars to their exacting standards with our workshop and team at their disposal…
Resto-Mods
Over the last ten years the team at ARG Refinishing have seen a huge increase in the resto-mod projects being requested. Restomods (in a nutshell) are restored-modified vehicles, taking all the finesse and style of your beloved classic and bolting on 21st century safety or performance parts to aid drivability, enjoyment and comfort.
Our workshop is currently gearing up to offer electric engine swaps, ideal for classic Porsche, Volkswagen Campers & Beetles future proofing your investment for years to come.
